What's Up With That: Why it's so hard to catch your own typos

Catching typos is my specialty!  When proofing transcripts, I hone in on misspelled and transposed words, formatting inconsistencies and errors, homophones, punctuation, speaker names and bylines, faulty references, missing words, and readability. Additionally, I conduct light research to ensure accuracy. I have excellent court reporter references.
