The Stenographer will provide verbatim transcripts of all proceedings using a stenotype machine with the ability to do realtime transcription. At the conclusion of the proceedings, stenographers have the ability to immediately produce a transcript in hard copy or digital form. Actual work will be in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and/or in the Washington DC area.

I'd like to hire a court reporter as a consultant on an hourly basis at $50 per hour to advise me on local conditions. Basically we'd talk and you'd help me get up to speed on the details of the court reporting community. I know it from the attorney side of things, but I'd like to hear more from the court reporter side. This assignment could be a few hours, or it could be a long term project.
