It’s that time of year again! I will be traveling to Sydney, Australia to visit family and friends on October 17th and staying there until the end of March.

The time difference is a bonus in getting your proofreading back to you quicker.

Example: If you send me your 150-page transcript on Monday evening at 5 p.m. EST, I would be receiving it at 7 a.m. in Sydney. You can find the finished job in your Inbox when you wake up in the morning!

Transcript proofreader with more than 20 years' experience available to a court reporter with steady workload.  Experience in same-day, next day, and regular turnarounds (depositions and trials).  Industry experience includes pharmaceutical, construction, patent infringement/intellectual property, PA Workers’ Compensation and U.S. Tax Court.  I proof from ASCII txt (my preference) or PDF files, perform online research for verification and quality assurance, maintain running word lists for case/deposition spellings and terminology, and provide a simple errata of corrections and queries.  Rates (for 25 lines) are:  .75 per page for expedites & real-time – ASAP & same-day turnaround; .60 per page for rush jobs – 24 hours; .40 per page for regular or standard jobs – 48+ hours; and there is no additional charge for weekends.
