First, I am proposing to the moderator that there should be a dedicated place in the forum for reporting no pay/slow pay reporters.  That would make this a bit easier.

Secondly, I have a "very busy, 1200 or more pages a week" reporter who doesn't pay, can't find her checkbook, thought she mailed it already, etc.  the initials are MJE out of Georgia.  Contact me if you need more info

I need an excellent Eclipse V7 scopist to help me with a daily civil trial that will be going for the next 6 weeks.  I need someone who can punctuate, put in speaker IDs that are missing, listen to audio but only "fix" drops; not stuttering.  I need someone who can get the work back to me next morning for proofreading.  If you only want to do half day, that is fine.  I can use Dropbox.  Please email me rates and availability.  Ana Dub, adubcsr@aol.com

Okay... school's back in session and it's time to make the big push for the final third of the year... Dedicated and responsible CaseCAT scopist, 19th year in the business, is looking to get busier with one or two new clients.  I listen to everything, not just spot-checks!  My normal page rate is $1.25 per page for normal turnaround work, and $1.50 for dailies, rushes, and highly technical jobs.  I am experienced in mesothelioma and transvaginal mesh litigation, high finance, medical malpractice... governmentese... I've seen it all.  Please look me up and I'll be happy to communicate with you... betabob923@gmail.com

Case CATalyst.

Using a scopist is supposed to make your life a little bit easier.  That's my goal.

I make every effort to do most of the legwork while I'm scoping your file.  If requested, I can gladly include the formatting for autoindexing along with exhibit descriptions.  I make dictionary entries (correctly), verify spellings of names and places,  and much more. I endeavor to add as much value to your transcript that I possibly can before it gets back to you for proofing.  I complete each job with full audio to ensure accuracy.

I'm practically a handbook on the AP style guide. Additionally, I can answer the question "How would Margie punctuate this gobbledegook?" and I was trained on Morson's. Following preferences is not a problem for me.

If you're looking for a solid scopist with demonstrable experience and skill, feel free to contact me at randall@casecatscopist.com.

I am a Case Cat scopist who has transitioned into full-time scoping and have room on my desk for another reporter or two. I use Morson's and Wakeman-Wells for reference, and I have a preference sheet for you to complete so that your own preferences is driving the final product. I read steno, scope to audio, have a MP3 set-up, and I use a foot pedal to catch every word.

My rates are flexible and reasonable at $1.25/page with variables for expedites and what-have-you. I work weekends and holidays. I use sendthisfile and Drop box to return your work to you in a very timely manner.

Contact me at rsevores@yahoo.com for references and more information, and we can get started on building a professional relationship to benefit both of us.

Good Afternoon,

My name is Trina Michael, and I am inquiring to see if you are in need of a scopist. I have almost completed my second year with an online court reporting school, and I am currently scoping until I am through with the speed building process. I will complete a 50 page or less transcript for free to show I work. My regular rates are $1.00 per page, and $1.25 per page for expedited work. Case Catalyst is the software that I work with, and I am using Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters as my reference. Please let me know if anyone is looking for a reliable scopist. Thank you!

I am a scopist with 30 and more of scoping and proofing.  I am looking for mostly deposition work.  I am only really interested in non-expedited work as I am working full-time.  I usually do this on nights and weekends.  Please contact me if interested at gentlyknit70@yahoo.com or on this site.  Thank you.  Lorraine Flood

I am in search of a fill-in StenoCAT scopist (possibly transitioning to full-time work).  I need someone who will listen to full audio, especially on VIDEO jobs, and actually correct my errors and fill in drops.   Please contact me at elenachester@earthlink.net if interested and available.  Thanks!

Busy CaseCat scopist on East Coast looking to add a reporter to the stable... been in the court reporting business since 1998, proofing and scoping for 18 years!  Med-Mal, government, asbestos, transvaginal mesh, etc...  Most jobs $1.25 per page full scope to audio... $1.50 for dailies, rushes, and some highly technical jobs.  I work around the clock and am an early riser, which often works wonders for West Coast reporters who need their work back early the next morning... it will likely be in your box waiting for you when you wake up!  Give me a try!  betabob923@gmail.com  thanks

Hi,

I am a scopist, former reporter for 28 years, on Eclipse 7.  I listen to every depo with audio even if it takes longer.  Margie Wakeman-Wells was my English teacher.  I am a California CCR.  I will use your preferences, not mine.  My goal is to send you back a flawless transcript.  I have a fast turnaround time, and my rates are very fair.  I have room for one more reporter.  Please e-mail me at darcylingenfelser52@gmail.com or call me at 530-925-3261.  Thank you!

I am a scopist on StenoCat.  I have three days off this weekend and wondered if anyone on StenoCat is looking for a scopist to do some scoping for them so that the court reporters can spend some family time with their family.  I'll work while you play.  If interested, please contact me at gentlyknit70@yahoo.com and the rates are set by the court reporter.  Thanks and have a great 4th of July weekend.
