Hi Julie! Yes, there is an actual degree in scoping at Stark State College in Ohio. It is one of their options in their court reporting courses. Do you have any tips on how to gain employment with any reporters? Thanks much for your comment, it brightened my day!

Never heard of any kind of degree in scoping. Was it for medical transcription or something like that? Good luck to you. I also use Case CAT 9, love it, and there's tons of reporters that use it also. Take care.
