Hum, interesting. I'll have to remember that. That was actually my third time climbing it, but the first two were when I was in high school, and NOTHING like I remember it. I remember going up the cable was fun!!! Maybe at 13, not at 37 LOL

That hike is a killer but such a classic. I love Yosemite and am sure I will keep going back again and again. Highly recommend the hike to North Dome since it's not so strenuous (3 and a half hours) and it puts you directly across from Half Dome. Recommend camping up there too but make sure your sleeping bag is rated for 40 degrees or colder or you'll freeze like I did and not get any sleep.
