American Arbitration Association Deposition Witness Letters?

Hi All -
I'm curious what is being used for witness letters in an American Arbitration Association deposition held in California. Would it fall under California Codes, Federal Codes, or something else?

I've reported tons of depos over the years in AAA cases in California, and in every single one the attorneys conducted them the same as they would in a Superior Court case, including the stipulations at the end.  Of course, if one time the taking attorney were to say, "Let's do it according to the code," and the other attorney said, "What code?  This is an AAA case," then I don't know what we'd all do.
