Elan Mira A3 - How much $$

Has anyone purchased a gently used Elan Mira A3 lately, from a private party?  One of the items in my ex's "estate" is an A3.  I know what the four Web sites (Acculaw, etc.) say they'll sell them for, but generally that's different than a private sale.  I'm trying to get an idea what it's worth so my kids can sell it.

But he had nothing, nada, zip, zero, zilch.  He was a man that couldn't say "no" to a new toy.  Four new to semi-new laptops, all with the same software on all of them.  I guess he didn't want to go the subscription route with E-transcript and wanted to ensure he'd have it on a working computer for the next 20 years.

His father was quite the planner though.  I'm a tad surprised he didn't buy burial policies for all of his kids.  I'll have to have my daughter give USAA a call and figure that one out.

Thanks.  I think the kids got a good price too.  One of the companies that resells machines bought It.  They'll resell it for more, but that's fine b/c they're giving a warranty/rental possibility/terms, which I wasn't willing/couldn't give.

They'll probably give it a once-over too to make sure it is in tip-top shape.
