My new fav gadget ... the luggage desktop! I have the soft-sided Stenograph Duet,
love the roominess of it but wished I had a hard top because I always park my bag next to me at depos and use it as a little side table. This tray is light and sturdy. I found on Amazon.

I'm so bummed.  I do the same thing with my case, and this looks like a great idea, and as luck would have it, Amazon is out of stock and doesn't know when/if they're getting more in.  If anyone knows of somewhere else to order this, I'd love to know.  I do use a tray table as well, but I always keep other things sitting on top of my case for quick access like paper clips, a mini stapler, kleenex and stuff like that.
