Does anyone know if there is a video posted here or somewhere that shows how to splice your paper ends? I found a tiny video on cheapandsleazy.net, but it's so small and the angle is not even focused on the instructor for most of the time, so I am unable to grasp the concept.

Thanks!

Thank you, Virginia! I think I might be able to understand that! Thank you for taking the time. :)
Hi, Roxanene.

You're right -- that video is on the small side!

I recently found a tool that should be able to make it bigger. I am experimenting with it now, and once I get the video to look good and have a larger viewing area, I'll upload it. Alas, I can't modify the angles or anything; sorry!

Look for that sometime next week (homework, work, sleep, blah, blah blah!).

Good luck with your splicing in the meantime .....

Nice! No rush. My instructor said she'd try and figure out how to make a short video on it and post it, but she admitted she's not very tech savvy when it comes to cell phones, digital cameras and the like, but between that and Virginia's diagram, I think I got it. :)
Good news ... and bad news.

First, the good news: I managed to make the video a *lot* bigger -- 800 x 600!

The bad news: It weighs in at a hefty 9MB (original was 1.5MB). Worse, there's some sort of 'picture-in-picture' thing going on.

Fixed the weight thing, and managed to fix the 'picture-in-picture' thing ... but the audio disappeared!

Needless to say, I'm talking with the developers of the application I'm using to edit the video. Hopefully, we'll get something going here in a few days -- preferably WITH audio, and WITHOUT that pesky 'picture-in-picture' thing!!

P.S.:

Virginia, would it be okay if I added your Word document to the page on my site with the video? It might make things more clear ...

Hi, everybody! Good news (and bad news).

First, the good news: The new and improved video is up, and you can see it at http://www.cheapandsleazy.net/saveabunchamoney.html.

The bad news: In making the video larger, it went from 1.9 MB to 4.1 MB ... but at least you can see it.

More bad news ... there may be a problem if you try looking at the page in Internet Explorer, so if you don't see the video on the above-mentioned page, Get Firefox!

Enjoy .....
