Back in the saddle! Rollin’ the sleeves up and ready to get down to some serious scoping business after a much deserved long break. Over 25 years’ experience scoping mainly deposition transcripts, but experienced in court transcripts as well. Scoping background includes real-time work, dailies/expedites with same-day turnaround time, video/audio work, as well as a wide spectrum of deponents/witnesses. My scoping experience and background as a former court reporting student have sharpened my English, medical, legal, and technology terminology while exposing me to a variety of steno writing. During my “break” from scoping, I relocated to another state and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages (Spanish and Italian).
I am currently looking for part-time scoping and/or proofreading work with a goal to increase my workload in the near future.
