I just saw the post to me that you posted on your own page. I can't tell you how many times I did that when I was new to this site.

So to answer the Hawaii question, no, I live in So. Cal, but we do try to make it to Maui, or one of the other islands, as often as we get a chance.

And congrats to your son, too, for posting the high score. My daughter, now 24, actually took the test and did awesome on it, too. I was so shocked because she sucked in school. I guess it was a high enough number to get her into the Air Force, but she decided against it, and after the war exploded, I was happy in hindsight -- even though you sure don't read about female fatalities very often.

Thanks, Donna, for looking into it.

I am not willing to pretend to be someone I'm not. I actually have a son that lives with me in my house that has Eclipse, and I still wouldn't go the route of having him call support for my "problems." I just don't tick that way.

I can get the latest version with a year of support from Eclipse through a software broker for 3100, so that's probably your competition. If you want their number to see what they'll offer you for your "package," I can give it to you.

As far as the $300 a year being a ripoff, I actually think it's close to $500, and while it's a chunk of change, it is just one of the costs of business of being a CSR, even though I probably called my last software company no more than three or four times a year.

Good luck to you!

You can always try to split the two items up and maybe get a better deal. Something to think about. Someone like me will have no interest in a beginner writer.

Wow!! Tami, thanks for sharing your webpage though. Are you from Hawaii? That's what I gather? Lucky, lucky you. Well, talk to you soon oh, and congrats on YOUR son (Clay) and his achievement.

My oldest boy, scored an 87 on his ASVAP (military test). So, he is an achiever, too.

Sincerely,

Donna Smith

Yes, Donna, I am a serious buyer. I am going to go on Eclipse this year -- hopefully sooner than later.

If I can save a few bucks, of course I'd rather go that route.

I am in contact with a broker and so already am not planning on paying Eclipse's full-boat price. but if we can beat that, that would be awesome.

Thanks!

Donna,

I need the the software with full support for the year.

Do you mind calling Eclipse and finding out what they would charge to provide the latest version of your software AND a full-year's support. Maybe it's cheaper than you think.

Do you have a student key or a reporter key??

I'm interested in a reporter's key with the latest update. I actually have a call into Eclipse as I write this, so your timing is terrific for me.
