I'm glad you enjoyed your time here on Oahu and are thinking about relocating here :) There are no schools on Oahu or even in the state of Hawaii that offer Court Reporting classes. There used to be courses given at KCC (Kapiolani Community College), I believe, but due to the drop out rates, they shut it down. The Court Reporting Institute of Dallas offers online courses. The website for CRID is http://www.crid.com/. All you need to do is fill out a short form w/ your contact info and they have someone call to tell you about the program and if you're interested you go through a phone interview. It's actually going pretty well for me. I am in my third quarter, just finishing up theory. I am still quite new and am only around 60wpm, not counting accuracy. The online program is all about being self-motivated, which at times I'm not..so I slack, but if you've been doing this for a while, it should be good for you :) Let me know what happens :)
