Beginning Lesson 4

I really didn't think I would ever get here; I still am not sure I SHOULD be here, but I have gone over lesson 3 so many times I just need a break:) There's a lot of material in lesson 4 but I'm excited about getting into it. It still boggles my mind that only 2.5 weeks into this journey, I am able to write and read little sentences.

Now of course, we all have a life outside of CR/school, and yesterday I was treated to a lovely ceremony at my son's school. It was a consecration ceremony and the kids all put on a fantastic show. Just 3 short years ago, my son would NEVER stand up in front of several hundred people, let alone say lines independently and sing. Of course, I shed a few tears ~ I just wish I could stop time; he's growing up so quickly!

I can relate to you seeing your son getting up in front of people. I had a similar experience last year when my son graduated pre-K and he performed with his class in front of the parents. But every day, my kids amaze me with the stuff they do and have learned.
