I owe a boatload of taxes this year. And if that isn't enough. I've also got to scrounge up enough to pay my quarterlies too. Darn!!

Well, our moneyz went to companies like Goldman Sachs which received $10 billion bail out just 4 months ago.. the same company announced 2 days ago it has made 1.8 billion in profit this LAST quarter.

LOL!! We give them $10 billion bail out and they turn around and announce $1.8 billion profit.. they really think we are stupid, they are getting away with murder here.

I shorted the Feds $10K for my '08 taxes. I just simply do not have it. Rat bastards anyway! I wonder where in the hell the tax money is going anyway! Certainly nowhere that I approve of!
Rrrrrrrrrr!

Well, I guess the good point about owing a buttload of money, I probably won't be audited by Uncle Sam. You're right.

Ha!
I paid 0 this year, thats right... ZERO!
The first time ever. I have a very strong feeling the IRS will be knoking on my door for a nice long friendly audit.
This has been the worst year ever for me, combined with 3 projects that took every single cent I made = no taxes for uncle Sam.

Uncle Sam... if you read this, please leave me be.

With a child in school and DH working a 'normal' job, we get a bit back, so far. I didn't make much tho, so thinking that 'helped'?? I hope it is busier next year, truly!!!

So would you rather owe or overypay a little during the year and get some back at the end?

Me, I'd rather get some back at the end.

I just e-filed my taxes via TurboTax for both Federal and State. I have to actually mail my payment for State, due to my State's oddball laws, I guess, but I was able to pay my Federal online.

I am also going to make my first quarter payment (Federal and State) by tomorrow. I must say even though I owe a lot of cheesenips, leaving me a little on the shortskies in the bank account, it sure as heck feels good to have it over with.

I hate this time of year with a passion. I always owe, but as soon as I mail that check, e-file, and get it over with, I feel a tremendous sense of relief.
