You know, there are always going to be attorneys who make the job a little bit harder.

But then there are some attorney firms that are very, very nice. They always offer to validate without your even asking so you don't feel like you're imposing on them. And the people themselves are just really, really nice. If you call them up and ask for an exhibit bec. they gave you three copies of the same one instead of the correct one, they actually send it to you in a timely manner. Gotta love it.

There are a few firms out there like that.

There is one firm in Long Beach, Keesal Young. They are very nice. They always validate. If it's an all-dayer, they have a cafeteira on the top floor w/an awesome 360 view of Long Beach, and they'll usually invite you so that you can have lunch there. They have sodas, water, and coffee in the deposition room. One time, the opposing counsel asked for cookies (he was joking), but the attorney had the catering staff bring down milk and cookies for everybody. I think that's nice.

What firms have you worked with that have made your job so much easier?

Also, gotta love those attorneys who really respect the record and who take control of the depo. You know what I mean.

I love working with the attorneyes from Reback McAndrews in Manhattan Beach, and Morgan Lewis in downtown L.A. has the nicest receptionist who always makes sure to validate my parking.
