It was an IME, Independent Medical Exam, for Judy. She's been so great and unbelievably supportive with him.
At one point the doc picks his nose -- got way in there -- gives it a stare and flicks it away, and the patient (wearing a gown) put out a low "ewwww."
I don't know if he reported the "ewwww" or not. :)
Nice!
Maybe someday he'll share. Right now he's pretty beat up. It was two hours to get there and three hours to get home. He didn't really even complain about that part, though. Think he was really happy to have been given the opportunity.
The job was tough for him. It would have been tough for me from what he described.
Sounds like he'll have a good story for the rest of his life about his first job.
Don't we all have one of those??? :)
I love basketball. Would much prefer to watch it than wrestling.
We just got to savor these moments, though. They'll be gone before we know it. I videotape all their games. I love watching them over and over. Silly, huh!
First job is today. It's a horrendous drive, but he really didn't blink twice about that part. He is still awaiting his reporter software from Eclipse, so that was his only worry. Flying with the student version today, but it should be here this week -- hopefully today -- and will be able to just ran his disk into his system.
I'm way more nervous than he is. HA!
Maui was so much fun. I think we will be staying home for Christmas, too. My middle boys are wrestlers, so that will take up our holidays and go through Spring Break.
It's so hard to watch. My 14 YAOERLD, Chase, wrestled last night, and I about died. He just got braces two months ago, and he forgot his mouthpiece in his locker. So he starts the match, gets ripped, runs off the mat to go get his mouthpiece. While it was funny, I guess, because it was such a rookie mistake, it killed me watching the match.
It went three rounds. He was down by two points until about 30 seconds left in the last round -- they only go three -- and then he pinned him with 15 seconds left.
He was wrestling up a weight division, so the other guy had ten pounds on him.
Anyway, I have a love-hate relationship with that sport. :)
Jill, Did you get your CRF question answered? I'm wondering if you have hyperkeys on. If so, to do a global, you hit g. To turn on and off hyperkeys, it's Alt z. If you're in hyperkeys and you want to global a two-stroke word, you press 7. For a three-stroke, press 8.
Hi Jill, are you doing broadcast captioning or CART? I am very interested in broadcast captioning. Could you give me any tips at all. Thx, Elise

ps I have been doing CART work at the local universities for about 51/2 yrs.
Hello, Jill!
Still waiting for you to tell me how to get this so cool flowery page, if you're willing to share. :)
Are you going to the Eclipse training seminars in Las Vegas (bungy baby!) in May? I've never been to any of them, but I would like some advanced training, and I would love to catch Keith Vincent's seminar(s).
I hope that all is well!
Hey, Jill!
So how do I get a flowery page too?
Do you go to any Eclipse user group conventions/seminars? It would be so great to see you in person again! Maybe do a bungy jump. Ugh! That still scares the tar out of me, even though I've done it a couple of times, and have done two tandem skydives, and raced high-performance go-karts, and gotten married, and birthed two children. There's just something about throwing myself off of a tower that really gets me scared.
I wasn't nearly as scared with my two tandem skydives!
:)
Hey, Brender, my dear! I always forget to come visit my flowery page. :( Did you watch the Academy Awards? Your thoughts, feelings, reactions, if any please.
I thought Jennifer Garner looked beautiful in spite of the fact her dressed smashed her bosom and made it a foursom.

Where does he get that from anyway??
