Re: the new platform called "Stenovate"
I have been a beta tester of this platform for the past 8 months. It was supposed to be launched to the general public on March 18, 2020. But the launch has been delayed until further notice due to COVID-19.
Once it is launched to the general public, I will be searching for another StenoCAT scopist who is willing to work with me through Stenovate. StenoCat scopists (good ones) are hard to find. Please let me know if you would be willing to work with me utilizing Stenovate and once it is open to the public, I will get in touch with you. I do only deposition work in Southern CA Monday - Friday. My email is: debdoran@verizon.net. Hoping to hear from you!

Jeannette, could you provide a link to the StenoCAT 32 facebook page?

Great seminar in San Francisco this weekend.  If you missed it, make sure you plan on going to Nashville mid-September.

Jeannette, thanks for taking the time to answer that for me.

So to copy out the macros, do you copy out "key sets"? Are key sets the macros, in other words? Also, where can I find the commands that I would use to create any new macros? Are they in the actual users manual from the installation CD?

How sad that I'm up thinking about this at midnight!

Thanks! I started having other problems that day and it wasn't pretty. But all is well now!

do you back up your macros and smart key sets? Just copy in your backup to restore it to its proper setting.

I have been having a problem with something in StenoCat the last few transcripts and I was wondering what I messed up....

When I am in smartkey and using the "L" key to go to the next word if I get to the end of the line instead of going to the first word on the next line it is skipping that word and going to the second word, every line, not just once in awhile. It's only been the last few and I wasn't messing with any settings, does anybody know how to fix this?

I second Jeannette's comments. I've been a member of SUN since 1992, and it is a fantastic group -- no snobs, no cliques, and useful, relevant seminars. It's a great value, too. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better price for a seminar with so many CEUs. Hope to see you in Anaheim!
