COST-EFFECTIVE WAY TO EARN CEUs

I just got .8 CEUs for NCRA and the State of Missouri for the bargain price of $99.  The outfit where I got it from was CR Seminars.  Their website address is www.ccrseminars.com.

 

For this price of $99 they even file it with NCRA so you don't have to pay the extra

$40 (I think) fee that you normally have to pay when you take a class outside of NCRA.  That is what you get for attending the webinar LIVE.  

 

CR Seminars also has taped sessions you can take but for EACH one of those you do have to pay the $40 filing fee to NCRA.  In other words, if you took two TAPED classes, you'd be paying for the class and then for each one you'd have to pay a $40 filing fee with NCRA ($80).  Double check me on that filing fee b/c I could be low on that.  Of course, you would also be paying for the class too.  The classes have different prices.  You can check the prices out on the web site.  Still, their classes are a bargain this way too.

 

Also, when you take the taped seminars, you are responsible for filing the paperwork with NCRA.

 

I did learn some things from the seminars. I thought they were informative.  The man that does this is Todd Allievi and he is a court reporter.  My concern about doing it this way was they don't have a phone number.  I corresponded back and forth with Todd before I took the class trying to get a phone number and he insisted email was the way to go.  I think they have an emergency number the day of the webinar in case you have a major problem.  

 

Anyway, I thought it was great.  $99, no travel time, no paying for gas to drive somewhere, no getting dressed up, no hotel expenses or eating-out expenses.  I will definitely do this again.

Yes, I am keeping my eye on those.  I am a great fan of the EclipseWebinars.com programs which cost about the same and have taught me some helpful things.
