Hello.  Has anyone tried the Wireless Microphone System by Sony for bench conferences?

Yes.  It does not work perfectly, though.  There is water in our bodies that affects the transmission, especially when people move around.  I have the sidebar system set up and then have a cable out that when sidebar happens, I plug the system into an Andrea usb microphone and then the audio from sidebar is recorded in line with my other audio in the same file as a continuation. When sidebar is over I remove my headphones and unplug the system.  The setup I have now is similar to the following:
