I just wanted to know if our writers and CAT software are compatible with Macs. I'll be graduating soon and am looking into getting items needed to start working.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Wow, that's a tough question to answer. I know sometimes Case Catalyst isn't even compatible with Windows! (She says as she smiles and sighs at the same time.)
Hi, Octavia.

Yes, Mac can run CAT software -- BUT you have to install Windows on them. You can do that with VMWare Fusion, Parallels, Boot Camp, and Sun VirtualBox.

Each of these options will require a copy of Windows to install on your Mac.

Of these four options, Boot Camp basically turns your Mac into a Windows laptop -- that is, when you are running Boot Camp, you have no access to the Mac OS until you reboot.

There is a rather busy discussion over on the CRF that you might want to check out.

Hope that helps!
Thanks, Glen.

That helps a lot. I also took at look at the link you included and it provided me with some options I didn't even consider.

Thanks again for your help.
You're welcome! Hope everything works out for you.
