Realtime Captioning in Chowchilla, CA

Hi, I have been asked to participate in an RFQ for the State of California, Department of Corrections. They have a hearing impaired employee, and must provide realtime captioning services for 2-3 staff meetings/training seminars a month. I am finding it difficult to locate captioners who live within 50-60 miles of Chowchilla. Would any of you be able to please provide me with contacts?

Unfortunately I don't know of any, but the fastest way to get this kind of information when it comes to captioners and/or CART providers would be on the Yahoo Broadcast Captioners forum. People ask for this sort of help there all the time and usually get a pretty good response. I have provided captioning services to that person before at the DOC.  She's great to work with.  I'm available sometimes.  Also, you may want to think about remote captioning.  Maybe she would be amenable to that too.  Call me if you need help. [phone].
