But my recollection of 2L1 whatever it is that we're talking about here, it doesn't have to be a burglary. I thought it was just a theft offense that's greater than 13 months custody.

Is 2L1 formatted correctly? Does anyone know?

Hi, Kyung. If you're talking about the United States Code, the first letter is small, then the number, and then the second letter is capped. If you're talking about the Code, it would be 2(l)(1). On the other hand, if you're talking about the Sentencing Guidelines, the format is different. Then it would be 2L1. I guess the Government never makes anything easy.
If you search the Internet, there are many places where you can find the U.S. Code and the Sentencing Guidelines.
I have downloaded both and keep them for reference.
Hey, Kyung, you can find the U.S. Code and the Sentencing Guidelines at the Cornell Law School Website at

And the Sentencing Guidelines are here.
