I am in need of some additional scopists so that I can keep my production flowing of depos coming in and out.  I am trying to create a team of scopists that can stay on top of the workload so that I am not waiting on one scopist to turn in work, as my page count is extremely high and it's difficult for one scopist to stay on top of a 3-5 day turnaround time!  If you are interested, please email me your rates and experience to:  stenotype1@me.com.

Hi,

I've been scoping and transcribing on Case CAT for about seven years.  I use Morson's as a guide, but most importantly your preferences.  Detail oriented.  Experienced with technical and medical depositions, hearings, and trials.  I work evenings, weekends, and some on the holidays.  I work on a three to five-day turnaround unless you need it quicker.  I'm happy to take daillies and emergency or short-notice transcripts.  I have reasonable rates for scoping and proofing.  I'm more than happy to listen to full audio.

I am an experienced, professional scopist/proofreader accepting any types of jobs (depositions, court, meetings, dailies, expedites, etc.).  My work history includes 20+ years as a scopist and proofreader, as well as 13 years (to present) as a court reporter.  (I also worked for three years as a high school English teacher and six years as a legal secretary before beginning my court reporting practice.)  I have a bachelor of science degree in English and a technical certification in computer science, as well as my training in machine shorthand.

My software is Case CATalyst 11 with AudioSync.  I also use ExpressScribe for digital audio files.

Case CAT scopist in Montana here.  I'm looking to keep my workload up.  I can scope using full audio if you need.  I've been scoping for five-plus years and have experience with various types of depositions, hearings, and trials.  I do my best to learn all the varying preferences between reporters and strive to return a great product.  My rates are reasonable and I am reliable.
