Thanks but the problem I'm having is finding the "Downgrade" page.  I can only find "Upgrade". Also, their phone # is just a recording.  Have you ever actually tried this?

after you cancel your pro account you can go to https://www.dropbox.com/account/delete

and delete your account.

(all of this is from the HELP section on the DropBox website).

Downgrade your Pro account's subscription

  1. Sign in to the Dropbox website with the Dropbox account you wish to unsubscribe.
  2. Visit the downgrade page
  3. Select 'Downgrade'
  4. You're all set.

Does anyone know how to cancel with Dropbox? or have a phone #?  They make it impossible

Thanks Janiece. I'm going to try that. It's $50 a month for Dropbox
