Greetings: I have never been a Mac fan, but I'm having second thoughts after seeing how quickly Ted's boots up and how light it is. Anyone using Eclipse with that very interesting new Boot Camp?

I heard!  I can't believe everything is slowly coming back. I didn't go with Mac yet, but considering it still.

(*gasp!!*)  What's taking so long?  :o)

Those new MacBook Pros are awesome!

I'm sidling over to MacWorld.  I do my transcripts at home on the MacMini.  We use Parallels to create the Windows environment that Eclipse still needs.  I have two Acer netbooks I take out on jobs.  The whole shebang is linked via cloud computing, Dropbox, so I just open it all up when I come home and voila.  I do plan to replace the Acers when Eclipse is up and running on the Mac.

Hi, Cathryn.

Sounds like you're all set!

Yesterday on my FB page, I found an ad for something called "Eye-Fi."  What it is is a memory card for your camera that will automatically upload your pictures from the camera to your computer when your camera is on and in range of your network.

The big question is whether or not it will do that with your Eclipse files ....

Anyway, if you're feeling brave, the site is here:

Good luck!

I am trying to convert over to Mac.  I did one job on it usuing the Boot Camp.  The audio was crystal clear and perfect... and I was so excited I got it up and running!  Then when I went to edit the job, the audio had stopped half way through the job.  I don't know if it was a fluke or what.   .Has that happened to anyone else?
