I just saw this on my AOL news.  Yikes - I eat eggs all the time.  I guess it's egg whites for me from now on.

There's no hard evidence that eating a cholesterol containing food contributes to a person's bad cholesterol levels.

Personally, I believe that it is the rise and fall of blood sugar levels that contributes most to cholesterol, i.e., sporadic blood sugar levels cause inflammation which leads to higher cholesterol levels.

Oh, my.  I couldn't imagine eating an egg salad sandwich or deviled eggs without egg yolks.  What fun would that be?
