Hello, Court Reporters!
I am currently looking for new clients. I use Case CATalyst V 16 with audio sync.
I have been scoping for both official and freelance reporters for about eight years. I've probably worked on just about every type of case in deposition, arbitration, mediation, trials, et cetera.
After writing for what seems like all day, send the file over to me to handle. I will care as much about your work as you do! My rates are competitive, my turnarounds are when you need the job done and my work is professional quality, accurate and thorough.

Hi, Reporters! I am a full-time proofreader, and I have been proofreading for six years. Prior to that, I was a court reporter in the Los Angeles area for 24 years. I am aware of the difficulties reporters face, such as duplicate words, missing articles, and the need for a large medical and legal vocabulary. I am more than happy to take on new and/or experienced reporters. After you send me the transcript in .pdf format, I make corrections directly on the transcript in red ink. If you want me to simply make corrections, that is fine; if you want the grammar or punctuation rule I'm using with a short explanation, that is fine also. My rates may be a few cents higher than other proofreaders, but I have many years of experience, both as a reporter and as a proofreader. If my name is connected to your transcript, I am going to want it to be as pristine as possible. I am available for all types of work, and I am always available for expedites. Is anyone available for two depos In San Jose on Friday, 2/20 at 1:00 and 3:00? It was initially scheduled for Sacramento and had a reporter covering it, but the venue has since changed. I know it's the first day of the DRA convention, so reporter's availability is a little sparse, but please contact me if you are available/interested.
