The Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco, continues to invite applications from Certified Court Reporters who are interested in working in the San Francisco Court.

This selection process is being conducted in accordance with San Francisco Superior Court Personnel Rule 4.8 and therefore will be used to establish an eligibility list to fill future vacancies.

$110,821.00 - $117,450.00 annually (not including transcript income)

In addition to this rate of pay, Court Reporters who provide Realtime will also earn an additional pay premium of 5.5% (uncertified) or 10.0% (certified). These differentials are included as salary for pension purposes.

The Court offers a generous flexible benefit cafeteria plan, including a variety of health, dental, life insurance plans, and other benefit options; a contributory retirement plan; paid vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay; and a deferred compensation savings program.

Hi!  I'm Katie, and I'm ready, willing, and able to do a magnificent job proofreading your transcripts!  Just to show you, I'm offering first-time clients the first 20 pages at no cost (yes, free!)  You'll be proud to submit your transcript in final form when I'm done with it.

I proof in PDF format gladly accepting regular, rush, and expedite jobs.

Don't be stuck worrying about silly commas, semicolons, capitalization, and the like.  You earn your money by taking on new jobs, not reviewing them!  So let me get my hands on those transcripts so you can do what you were highly trained to do.  My "red pen" and I are ready to go!

I am starting to feel quite guilty because I am having such a fabulous time on the beach and coast in Anna Bay, Australia, with my husband and pup.

Are there any court reporters out there who want to send me some work to rescue me? Send me your pdf transcript to proofread. Remember that I am a day ahead of you which is to your advantage.

Proofreader available and looking to add one or two reporters to my schedule. I would love to build long-term working relationships. I proof in PDF and send back only the pages with corrections so it is easy for you to find what I suggest. My job is to help you produce a great transcript and feel confident when it is finished. I follow your preferences as well as Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation, Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters, and The Gregg Reference Manual.

Please feel free to email me at and I will be happy to send my rate sheet and references.

Thank you!
