Re: the new platform called "Stenovate"
I have been a beta tester of this platform for the past 8 months. It was supposed to be launched to the general public on March 18, 2020. But the launch has been delayed until further notice due to COVID-19.
Once it is launched to the general public, I will be searching for another StenoCAT scopist who is willing to work with me through Stenovate. StenoCat scopists (good ones) are hard to find. Please let me know if you would be willing to work with me utilizing Stenovate and once it is open to the public, I will get in touch with you. I do only deposition work in Southern CA Monday - Friday. My email is: debdoran@verizon.net. Hoping to hear from you!

Jeannette, could you provide a link to the StenoCAT 32 facebook page?

Hi Vickie,

We have a StenoCAT facebook page if you want to let fellow StenoCAT users know about your scoping.

Great seminar in San Francisco this weekend.  If you missed it, make sure you plan on going to Nashville mid-September.

Jeannette, thanks for taking the time to answer that for me.

Wendy,
Yes, the key sets are the macros. You can find instructions on how to write and copy macros in the Up and Running Guide, pages 33 - 34.

You can download the Gigatron key sets from the Gigatron website. After that go into any job and then Tools, Customize keyboard and you can print out all the macros that come with the software. To make up new macros go into any job, then Tools, edit macros. Make sure when you load the Gigatron key sets that you customize it with your name so whenever Gigatron comes out with an update of key sets yours will still be there with all your own macros.

So to copy out the macros, do you copy out "key sets"? Are key sets the macros, in other words? Also, where can I find the commands that I would use to create any new macros? Are they in the actual users manual from the installation CD?

How sad that I'm up thinking about this at midnight!

Thanks! I started having other problems that day and it wasn't pretty. But all is well now!
