I think StenoCAT is a great choice. It's very easy to use, and there's multiple ways of doing things, so you can pick which is easiest for you. I also think it's the most affordable. I haven't been on Eclipse, so I couldn't say what the differences are. I can just tell you about my experiences with StenoCAT. We have a great user group and meet twice a year to get training. Look forward to passing that in May! I also have just recently switched from Eclipse student version to Steno Cat Student Version. This was because Steno Cat is much more affordable to get started. A lot of students and court reporters are switching to Eclipse. Why do you think that is? From where I am starting from do you think this is the best decision for me or does it really matter what software you use? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

I'd love to go to New York or New Jersey. I've never been to either place and have always wanted to go. I suggest New York every seminar, but it's too expensive. If you know of a place that is reasonable, approx. $150) and has conference rooms, let me know. Our management company is looking for places in 2010 so I can pass on the information. I hope we'll be able to see you in either Anaheim or Florida. Please don't switch software because we haven't come to New York and New Jersey. We're trying.
