Happy Thanksgiving! Due to my college classes being dismissed for the holiday, I'm looking to pick up a few clients, and/or one-time jobs while feasting on some turkey and dressing. Feel free to visit my website PeytonProofreading.com or e-mail me at valerie@peytonproofreading.com to discuss rates and other guidelines.
If you are looking for a proofreader, I am ready to add a couple additional clients to my workload. I am a fulltime proofreader with over 2 years’ experience, a BA in English, a wide vocabulary and a passion for words.
I work in .pdf format with the ability to convert your document from .txt or .doc. In addition to depositions, hearings, and court proceedings, I also have experience with meeting minutes of various types. I will read any type of case, regardless of content or subject.
I perform light research as a matter of course, and internet research is a specialty. I insert sticky notes where my research results are more than a few words.
My attention to detail is excellent and my rates are reasonable, with no additional charge for weekend work.
Please contact me at: sueclover65@gmail.com or 303-902-5118 of you have any questions.

This is a great post! There is priceless value in preserving your time as a court reporter. Contact me to preserve some of YOUR time.
Hello!!
I am a PDF proofreader and would love to help you find all of those pesky little errors.
I worked for 15 years for a property/casualty insurance company, and am familiar with all aspects of claim handling and insurance suits.
I am available for your immediate, one-time transcript or your long-term needs. I use Morson's, The Gregg Reference Manual, Margie Wakeman Wells, Merriam-Webster dictionary, and Google. I will also proof to your specific preferences.
I believe that mutual respect, attention to detail, timely communication, and reliability make for a perfect working relationship. I would love to be your proofreader.
You can reach me at graceproofreading@gmail.com or www.linkedin.com/in/carisyoung. Let your work be covered by grace.
Good morning, again, I now have a proofreader. Thanks.
I am looking for a proofreader who specializes in conferences, meetings.
I have a two-days' transcript and need it proofed. It's just a regular. Also from time to time I get jobs from conferences so that person could be my regular proofreader, sometimes I may ask you to proof with the audio. Thanks.
Hello, my name is Amy Vasbinder and I offer transcript proofreading services for court reporters.
Nothing helps more than a second pair of eyes reading over your transcripts. It is my belief that the proofreader is the final line of defense for a quality transcript. I get a great deal of satisfaction being that second pair of eyes, that final line of defense. Why give up your precious time proofing your own work when I can do it for you? Increase your output by spending more time on the art of court reporting and less on the art of proofreading.
I have completed the online course Transcript Proofreading: Theory and
Practice ™, which entailed reading and correcting over 3,000+ pages of transcripts. This practice has acquainted me with what court reporters do and what a proofreader can provide for them. In addition to completing this course, I have familiarized myself with the following reference guides:
Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters
Court Reporting: Bad Grammar / Good Punctuation by Margie Wakeman Wells
The Gregg Reference Manual
Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition
If you are interested in learning more about how working with a proofreader that specializes in the court reporting field can help your transcripts look clean and professional, feel free to email me at: amy@beecorrectproofreading.com
Please visit my website at www.beecorrectproofreading.com to learn more about me, check out what my rates and turnaround times are, find out about new client discounts and referral discounts, and just get a feel for what Bee Correct Proofreading can do for you!
I prefer to proof via PDF. Send over your job and I will return only annotated pages via email. I am currently accepting new clients and look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you for your consideration!

Hi! I’m a reliable and conscientious proofreader who is accepting new clients. I have experience with thousands of transcript pages, and I have a keen eye for spotting several different types of errors. I use Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters, Margie Wakeman Wells’ Court Reporting: Bad Grammar/Good punctuation, and The Gregg Reference Manual as my guides. I will follow your lead and proofread to your preferences. My rates are very affordable, and I do not charge extra for weekends. Please email me at brookeproofreads@gmail.com for more information. I am new to this group and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Alison. I live in Colorado, but proofing digitally allows me to work with clients nationwide. My career has been varied and that has served me well. I've built a reputation for being the go-to colleague that could get any job done quickly and correctly while being pleasant. Kindness and communication go a long way!
In addition to my bachelor's degree in education, I've recently finalized my formal training by completing the online course Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice. I’ve proofed thousands of pages and I regularly reference Lillian I. Morson, The Gregg Reference Manual, and Margie Wakeman Wells. I have a close relationship with my dictionary as well. I will, however, defer to your preferences as a priority. As I mentioned, I prefer to proof digitally (PDF). Send over your job and I will return only annotated pages via email. I am currently accepting new clients and look forward to hearing from you!
