I worked as a deposition reporter for 14 years, and now I am proofreading.  I charge 30/page for 2-3 days turnaround, and 50 cents a page for an expedite.  I usually get it back before the 2-3 days for regular jobs.  Court is 35 cents a page and 55 cents for expedites.  I would prefer a text first at 714-290-6338. My email is nnrep@hotmail.com.   I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks, Nanci

Hello!

I have over 18 years of scoping experience -- everything from Orphans' Court proceedings to zoning hearings to depositions. I am now adding PROOFREADING work. I am reliable and meticulous, and I have a keen eye for mistakes and formatting errors. I am willing to adapt to your preferences.

My rates are reasonable and regular turnaround is two to three days. I am also usually available for daily turnaround if given notice.

I work on an iPad using the iAnnotate app. Simply e-mail me a PDF. I can e-mail you back the entire annotated document or only the annotated pages, whichever you prefer.

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi there,

You are a court reporter who is in need of a pair of hawk's eyes finding and correcting your errors. I am a proofreader who is looking to take on a few agencies or reporters and who has spent years writing and editing for national publications with great success.  Clearly, we're perfect for each other!

I can turn around most jobs in 48 hours, but can turn them around faster if needed. Rates are negotiable; please email joe@donahuejg.com and we can chat.

HAPPY 2016!!!  I HOPE THIS YEAR BRINGS YOU GOOD HEALTH AND HAPPINESS!! IN KEEPING WITH 2016, IF YOU DECIDE TO USE ME AS YOUR PROOFREADER, I WILL PROOF THE FIRST "16" PAGES OF YOUR FIRST PROOFREADING JOB WITH ME FOR FREE!!  I AM VERY DEDICATED TO MY WORK AND MY RATES ARE VERY AFFORDABLE. I ALSO DO INTERNET RESEARCH, WHEN NECESSARY. YOU WOULD SIMPLY SEND ME AN ATTACHMENT BY WORD DOCUMENT. I WOULD PRINT OUT THE TRANSCRIPT AND THEN MARK UP THE CORRECTIONS IN RED AND SCAN THEM BACK TO YOU. PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT USE ECLIPSE OR ERRATA SHEETS. I HAVE BEEN PROOFREADING FOR COURT REPORTERS THAT EXTEND FROM FLORIDA TO CALIFORNIA. I CAN BE REACHED THROUGH MY WEBSITE. MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS: JANEGPROOF@GMAIL.COM   Thank you, Jane Goldberg

Hello, fellow reporters!

After 17 short years as a CSR, I have been forced into an early retirement due to health issues.  But I'm not done!! I love my job. In order to stay active in our profession, I have turned to proofreading.  I love, love, love it!   I have expertise in civil and criminal.  I spent seven years on the Law and Motion calendar, followed by five years in criminal felony trials, and my career ended after five short years in civil trials.

I love dailies and expedites, and can accommodate both.

I have CaseCatalyst software and can proof on that for the CC users out there. If you're not on CaseCatalyst you can PDF me your file and I will send the scanned corrected pages only back.

I will share my rates and references upon request.

I'm currently working with four reporters and would like to add two to four more.

I use Margie Wakeman Wells' book, Morson's English Guide, and I Google all proper nouns, attorney addresses, or words I'm not familiar with.

I put a lot of effort into making your transcript look as close to perfect as we can get.  I'm a stickler for consistency, and I can and will give advice on how to clean up your writing/dictionary, if it's ok with you.

There are several qualified proofreaders on this site.  I would be honored if you gave me a shot at providing this service for you.

Hi, my name is Kate - I'm looking for a proofreader who has experience with workers' comp and arbitrations - my work is anywhere from 1 to 5 smaller transcripts a week and I'm looking for someone who is willing to make the corrections for me - anything that you wouldn't be sure of, you can always make a note and return it with the transcript - I have eclipse or am willing to send an ascii via email - as this is the way I do it currently - if anyone is interested, please contact me at kek.steno@verizon.net - thanks :)

Comment by Vincent Prewitt on November 17, 2015 at 21:01

Hello all. I'm Vincent Prewitt, transcript proofreader. I have an extensive amount of experience when it comes to transcripts, both as a transcriptionist and a proofreader. I have been trained on the principles of Morson's and The Gregg Reference manual, but I will be more than happy to cater to your preferences. My normal turnaround time is two business days, but I do offer one-day or same-day turnaround if need be.

I proofread with or without audio. For without audio, I will send you the corrections in either an annotated PDF or in a DOC or RTF file using track changes in Microsoft Word. For with audio, it would just be the latter.

I am a hard worker, very reliable, and very dependable, and I will make sure that your work is of the utmost accuracy. I also have references from reporters that have been very happy with my services. If you are interested, please e-mail me at vinceproofs@gmail.com. I am freely available to take work right now.

Thank you so much in advance!
