I have been a freelance court reporter for 33 years working with Case Catalyst.  I am looking for court reporters who need the services of a scopist.

I am an experienced Eclipse scopist.  I have a background in nursing, medical transcription and have been scoping for about six years now.  I am also multilingual, French, Spanish and Swahili  (yes, Swahili.) 

My regular reporters' work has suddenly dried up and I am hoping there is someone out there who is looking for a great scopist.  I have experience in trials, both criminal and civil, med mal, depos, dailies, board meetings and more, I'm sure.  I am reliable and will get your work back to you before or on the promised day.  I also proof every transcript to audio before returning it.  And most importantly, my rates are very reasonable.  References available on request.

Hi, Everyone,

My name is Rebecca and I am a CaseCat scopist with 30 years' experience.  I was a reporter for a few years until carpal tunnel got me, so I know what deadlines are all about.  I can read steno, so I have no problem adding to your dictionaries. 

I have backgrounds in:  International finance, including trade and commerce, insurance, banking, accounting.  I have a special love for medical with an uber expertise in "bad baby" cases. 

I'm looking for a third reporter to add to my client roster.  If you're slammed, need some help, your regular scopist is on vacay, those evil attorneys told you on Monday they weren't going to order these transcripts, and now on the eve of your vacation they want all four days of trial by tomorrow, email me.  You will find I am far more than fair, reasonable, honest, dedicated, and funny as hell.

I am a Case CATalyst scopist with over 35 years of experience and lived in both Northern and Southern California for many years.  Reading steno fluently affords me the ability to make dictionary entries, and a strong command of the English language ensures that all transcripts are punctuated properly.  All transcripts are scoped and proofread prior to being returned to a reporter.  Contact info:  l_gauthier@COMCAST.NET, (603) 373-0198
