  1. Hi
Happy New Year! Experienced steno-trained Eclipse 8 full-audio scopist and in-software proofreader looking to help another reporter with their workload. I've scoped coast to coast over the past seven years; from Miami SEC investigations, to Delaware Chancery, to Silicon Valley complex IP litigation, to Deep South trials and hearings-- you name it, I've done it, solo and in teams. CM proficient, and have been focused on doing backup expedite work the past year to give myself a little more scheduling flexibility. Most of my clients come through referral, so I don't often post on job boards. Always on time, always in communication, always to your preferences.

Hello!
Reliable scopist available for full-time, part-time, or one-off jobs. I would also be happy as a backup for any overflow work you may have.

I would love to add a busy reporter to my schedule and look forward to creating a lasting, professional relationship built on communication and trust. It is my job and joy to make sure you feel confident knowing your transcript is in good hands. I am happy to send my rates, resume, and references upon request.

TRAINING FOR SCOPISTS WHO NEED THE SKILL OF STENOGRAPHY OR TOTAL ECLIPSE TRAINING:

Teri Gibson began her career as a  Certified Shorthand Reporter and began her profession as a Freelance Court Reporter in 1981.  The shorthand skill that she used is called stenography.  She has worked as a Court Reporter, CART Provider/CART Captioner and Total Eclipse Trainer.

Through the years, the technology of the Total Eclipse Software has continued to improve and has allowed Court Reporters to work also as a CART Provider (also known as CART Captioner).  In 2001, she expanded her services to include CART Captions as a CART Provider for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

In 2016, she saw a need for basic training and became an Authorized Total Eclipse Trainer and created a program to give students an opportunity to create a strong foundation using the Total Eclipse Software.

Teri Gibson has used the Total Eclipse  Software as a Court Reporter in the Federal Court, State Court, and deposition reporting.  As a CART Captioner, she has also used the Total Eclipse Software as a CART Captioner in Superior Court, community events, church services, funerals, colleges, universities, etc.

This trainer will help you build a firm foundation using the Total Eclipse Software so that you can produce transcripts efficiently, on an expedited basis and daily copy.  You will learn how to use Connection Magic in the Total Eclipse Software and learn how to work in teams using the Total Eclipse Software.

There are four ways to receive training:

ISO of Eclipse CM proofreader for a couple of my reporters. Two daily 2-week CM trials scheduled in September and October -- and I have been asked by the reporter(s) to search for a proofreader to work behind myself and one other scopist in the Connection Magic file, with turnaround time being IMMEDIATE (as close as possible) after completion of each day. Has to be on the ball and not afraid of a little stress!!! One of the reporters is also looking for a regular proofreader that doesn't necessarily have to be a software proofer -- can use PDF. Please contact me at tjascoping@gmail.com for info. TIA!!!!

Hello Reporters:

I was a 35-year plus veteran CSR, living in Oceanside, CA, trained in Los Angeles, and am SCOPING for reporters.  I use CASE CATALYST.  I have vast experience scoping my own jobs and have been scoping for reporters for over eight years now.  I read steno and am familiar with all areas of civil litigation, have a great vocabulary and excellent punctuation skills.  I am conscientious, meticulous, and very prompt.   As a reporter I was a perfectionist, and I continue being so as a scopist.   I am well aware of the bells and whistles involved in reporting and comfortable working with full AudioSync.

I will work on the weekends and am available for expedites.  I am looking for overflow, part-time, or full-time work.  I am also open to working with reporters outside my area, in other parts of the country.  My page rates are reasonable, especially for California, and I am regularly very prompt in my turnaround.

Please e-mail me at Veritablement@aol.com or telephone me at 619.750.2339.   I look forward to hearing from you and working together with you in the future.    Thanks.

Time once again to list myself as available for CaseCAT scoping!

Been working in the field since 1998... looking for an experienced reporter or two to help round out my work weeks.  I have plenty of experience in governmentese, in asbestos, in medmal, in ambulance chasers... you name it.

I am reliable and hard-working.  I scope to audio.  I search the Internet for your missing terms.  I communicate well.  I currently charge $1.25 per page for normal turnaround work; $1.50 for technical work and expedited/rush/daily work.  I use Dropbox.

I am on the East Coast.  If you're out west, I find that our time differences can create some very positive deadline scenarios.  Please say hi at betabob923@gmail.com

THANKS
