Hello, Sir; I just met and congratulations one of your last passing CSR students from Fontana ( so new, I forgot his name momentarily); but I know you know because that's where I got you from, his site. Where did you teach? I am a near 20-year veteran now in San Jacinto, do a lot of work in the Palm Springs, Imperial County area coming from Inglewood for my first 15 years. We males should all know one another and bond. There aren't many of us out there. However, I started out with Killion Court Reporters. Do you know Bob Killion & his wife Paula? How about are you a member of D.R.A. (Deposition Reporters Association) or CCRA (the state) or NCRA (the national)? I go to many conventions now, so perhaps I'll see you at one of them? Oh, that's right; you were an official. That's probably why you haven't had the time to know all of the above...sorry. Welcome out here, my Man; and have fun. Join these clubs and we'll see each other soon, okay? Take care. Welcome to my site and read up all about me. There is a guy named Clay who just passed the last CSR exam. He is the son of Tami, a CSRNation member. He passed with 7 errors. I had picked him to be at 5 or under. I was close. i did 17 myself. I also have two students I mentor. Well, enough rambling. I should warn you, I write diatribes. Peace out!
Hey there, my favorite ex-teacher, Dan! Thanks for the comment. Hopefully I'll get a paying gig pretty soon :-) I'm pretty swamped getting ready for the piano recital right now, though. So it's okay for now. I just hope I'm working by the first of November! Talk to you soon. Oh...Mel will be joining us on Nov. 14th. Looking forward to it. Thanks!
Howdy, Tom. I moved to PS from San Francisco in 2002. Although I don't report anymore, I still get many calls from firms asking me to help. I think you can work as much as you want or as little as you want. The Valley is growning, and there's plenty of work for reporters down here.
A warm welcome from CSRnation, thanks for joining.
