I remember reading about you selling your car and having only a bicycle as your transportation mode. I wish I could do that, but we're in such a rural area that it would be pretty hard to do that. But I've certainly envious of the 30-pound loss and the great cardio exercise you get!

If you do think you're interested in learning to ride a motorcycle, check into the Motorcycle Safety Foundation courses. HERE's a list of the ones available in FL.

It's a good way to see if you're interested before buying a bike, and you'll learn how to ride safely, the right way, without getting into bad habits.

My husband had been riding since he was a kid, but hadn't had a bike since we had been married. Our kids were getting older, so he decided to get one again. I rode with him, but decided I wanted to try to ride too. So we both took a beginning rider motorcycle safety course. They teach you from the very beginning of how to get on the bike, all the way to doing figure eights in a box, swerving to avoid hazards, power stops, and riding over 4-by-4s. We had such a good time that we now help teach it and an experienced rider course.

There's nothing more relaxing than riding a motorcycle, and there's certainly nothing more freeing. And with 50 mpg, you can't beat it.
