I am a PDF transcript proofreader with experience in proofreading trials, depositions, examinations under oath, preliminary examinations, and other hearings. I have been in the proofreading field since 2019. I volunteered for two years as a proofreader and researcher for a non-profit clean energy organization. I worked as a courtroom clerk at the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda, for over 15 years. I created, proofread, and edited court minute orders, jury trial verdict forms, and other legal documents for judges in criminal, civil, and family law proceedings. My legal background piqued my interest in becoming a trained professional transcript proofreader, and I received my certificate in Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice from Proofreading Anywhere in 2022.
I launched my business, And Justice 4 All Proofreading, in 2022. I have experience working for court reporters in California, Alaska, South Carolina, and Antigua in the Caribbean. I specialize in proofreading daily and expedite transcripts.
