I have now decided I want Joshua Ledett to win. He is amazing. I wrote him off at the beginning but now I am paying close attention to him. Just amazing. Every song he sings now is over-the-top good.

Comment by Janet on May 4, 2012 at 6:07: It's been interesting to watch every week Hollie has been in the bottom three, but every single week she is growing and getting better and better. I hope she blows everyone away next week. I know you like Phil Phillips, Kelli, but I really don't. I think all of his songs sound the same. He doesn't have much of a range.

I loved what Joshua did with the Bee Gees song. Jessica's second song was beautiful, but I don't see her in the final two. I think it will either be Joshua and Hollie or Joshua and Phil. Phil really does seem to have a huge fan base, judging by the voting and how the audience reacts to him. We'll see.

Comment by Janet on April 15, 2012 at 6:57: I agree, Lynnette. The one who will remain nameless (until Kelli watches) has a great voice, but her song choices are NOT good. I can't remember the last one I liked. So what are the judges going to do next week if the bottom ends up the same way and two of their favorites go? I wonder if they'll pout for the rest of the season.

Comment by Lynnette Copenhaver on April 14, 2012 at 16:47: OMG is all I can say about the results show. I'm not a big Elise fan. I just think she's too inconsistent, although I do like her raspy voice aslo. Reminds me of Stevie Nicks.

I will say I don't like all three of the judges at the end running up on stage, I just think it showed a lot of favoritism. And I disagree with Randy that she is one of the best singers in America!!! Janet knows who I'm talking about having watched the show.

I immediately went and downloaded the song that Elise did "You and I" on AI this last week. Love that song, especially the way she sings it. I think she is really good. I like that raspy sound in her voice.

By your last comment, Janet, I guess that means Elise went home. I sure hope not. I'll have to watch and see I guess.

Comment by Janet on April 13, 2012 at 3:40: Wow, that was a strange night on AI. I guess there are a lot of people out there who feel the same way we do about the contestants. I guess that answered teh question whether they'd save Elise. They said they would use the save before they knew who had the least votes.

It will be interesting next week to see if the voting changes or if two of this week's bottom three will go home.

Comment by Janet on April 12, 2012 at 6:28: I liked Joshua's performance last night. Skylar did a great job. I didn't think Hollie put enough into that song. That's such a strong song. I still don't like Elise. The judges loved her last night, ,but I didn't get it. I didn't really like Colton's performance, though I like him. I think Hollie and Elise will probably be the bottom two.
