Comment by Janet on June 5, 2012 at 10:41: I haven't seen that one, Duets. Project Runway is competitive. There are some over-the-top characters, but I love watching them design. They have a mini runway show each week and the top three produce a line of clothing and compete the final week.

I haven't seen that design show, but I've seen a lot of commercials for it. I watch HGTV all the time.

My mom is a interior designer and she likes the design reality show, forget what it's called. Who doesn't like clothes? I'm going to have to Tivo that one.

I just tried to watch Duets with Kelly Clarkson and some other people I haven't heard of. It sucks!! I couldn't even watch 20 minutes of it. Cheesy!!!

Comment by Janet on May 24, 2012 at 3:23: That final was no surprise. Actually, the only surprise was that they changed nights so that I missed the final performances. I watched the performances on youtube. Actually, it was better than watching all the BS they fill the shows with. I liked the new song they had Phil sing, but I thought the one they gave Jessica was terrible. I don't think that would have made any difference, anyway. He has the fans.

It will be interesting to see how they all do in the real world. I hope Skylar and Hollie get some backing. I'd like to see them do well.

Comment by Kelli Combs (admin) on May 22, 2012 at 18:12: I think I missed the final performance. I agree with Man's World and Roxanne. Very, very good. Jermaine didn't stand out at all to me. Good looking guy, but his voice wasn't anything special.

Comment by Janet on May 22, 2012 at 17:41: I was actually surprised that the opera singer came in last in the finals. The song he did with Christina that night was amazing. I wasn't a big fan of the guy who won, Jermaine. I forgot the name of C Lo's finalist. She should have saved Roxanne for the final night. I think that was her best performance. That, and It's a Man's World. I wasn't crazy about her final performance.
