Some of you have really neat pages with nice backgrounds and even music.

Anybody want to tell me your secret?

You can play around with your page by clicking on "settings". As far as uploading songs, you need to save them to your computer and then upload them to your page...

Thanks for the info., Glen.

I'm going back to look just as soon as I can.

Hi, Norma.

No secrets, really; just features of this site.

I can't recall what a new page looks like, but somewhere on there you should see something that says something along the lines of "Add a song here!" or something like that ... and (as you might guess), there's something similar for the pictures as well.

Finally, a quick word about pictures.

If you visit a few pages here, you'll see that some of them have a really big picture ... but it's so hard to scroll the picture.

What that means is that the person who put the page together saved the picture with the "Millions of Colors" setting ... which means it requires a lot of memory for your computer to display the image ... which, of course, slows the scrolling down.

As for the music, there is a setting to have the play list play as soon as you open the page, and another setting for it not to play the play list. I have the music on my page set to not start automatically -- mostly because every once in a while, I'm recording something on my computer ... which, as you might guess, is not a good time to hear someone's page playing music.

Just a couple of "secrets" to play with! Enjoy yourself here.

“For a Good (steno) Time ...."
