Proper etiquette for snatching food from the sample people.
Make one long queue.
Do not cut in front of others.
Do not collect for your whole family.
Do not stand behind the sample person and reach over them to snatch from the table.

Please say thank you.
Take a napkin.
Throw you sample wrapper/napkin away in the trash bin. Do not leave for the next family that will be using your cart.

Observe the right of way. Very often difficult to tell. But if in doubt, go with the flow of traffic. Do not decide to create your own roadway in the middle of the aisle. Please park your cart courteously so that others may get around you.

This is not bumper carts. If you must pass the slower-moving cart in front of you, politely say excuse me. Try not to tailgate. I know it's very difficult.

Do not run over small children. If you think the fit might be tight, don't try to go around. Have some patience or ask politely. You will feel bad if you sideswipe someone or taken someone out at Costco.

last item: bring sissors, cut up Cosco card, proceed to Sams Club where the aisles are wide, the choices are many, the stock is the best, and you don't have to say "excuse me" to get around. Love their meat counter. More choices in every aisle. I tried Cosco and I'll never go back.

They stopped giving samples out at Costco and Fresh Fields in my area because of the H1N1 flu (swine flu).

I enjoyed reading your Costco Etiquette Rules, and they definitely need to be adhered to. :)

Kyung,
1. Print your Costco Etiquette rules
2. Fax a copy to Costco headquarters and ask them to make a big 'ol sign to be posted at the entry of each store!
When that store is crowded, it's every man for himself!
