Welcome to CSR Nation
Okay, court reporting community, I need some suggestions. It's that time of the year again.
As several of my reporters have been with me for a while, I'm beginning to ponder what to get them. We have a good relationship, but I don't know them like you know the neighbor or your friends. I would assume, like many occupations, you don't need another court reporter-related gift.
In the past I've done things like researched their hometown and sent gift certificates for spa days or massages at a local business, sent spa gift baskets (chocolate ones!), and a variety of other things.
What I'd like to know, though, is what you, the reporter, would like or welcome as a gift from your scopist, if you use one. I would think that regular clients don't want or need something with my name on it. You already know who I am and how to contact me, right?
Remember, I am a scopist, so please don't shoot for the moon! Thanks!!

A pic of family and horses would be nice!
LOL, Judy.
I agree with Quyen. You work hard for your money; spend it on yourself and family. Maybe a card with a photo of yourself and family (or your horses) so your reporters can see who they're dealing with (and in the case of a pic of your horses, where all of your money goes).
Thanks for your thoughts so far, Ladies.
A card (the thought) is very much appreciated. It's the holidays; we all have a lot of expenses and gifting to do. Save it for your family.
I agree with Kelli. A nice card is very appreciated.
I know one year my scopist just got me a Visa card with a $50.00 limit on it. It was great because I used it to get my nails done. It was perfect!!
I do have to say, though, that I don't think it is necessary for the scopists to give a gift to a reporter. Maybe just send a nice card. That would be appreciated too.
