I do 95% civil depositions now and I've forgotten my old criminal briefs.
So can anybody suggest anything for
probable cause
field sobriety
breathalyzer
intoxilyzer
video surveillance.

Probable cause = PRAUZ
breathalyzer = BLAOIFR
intoxilyzer = SLAOIFR
field sobriety test = FAOEBT
video surveillance = VAOFS

probable cause = PROBLS
proximate cause = PRAUS or PRAUZ

Those are the ones in my dictionary.
Thank you, thank you.
Also, I didn't need proximate cause but I'm glad you pointed it out so I woudn't use the same as probable cause.
I especially like BLAOIFR...
I use the asterisks a lot. I did probable cause PRO*EK, not to be confused w/ proximate cause, PRO*EX (omg, it's so hard to think in steno w/o seeing it). Field sobriety was FOEB, field sobriety test/s/, FOEBT/S/. My favorite: imposition of sentence is suspended: *IZ. I have SO MANY briefs for criminal so feel free to ask. Intoxilyzer, T*OX. Breathalyzer, BRAO*EUZ.
Thanks.
All of these make sense to me and I won't use them often but I do think I can incorporate them.
I appreciate it.
