Slow or steady?

Hi, all,

 

I'm just curious as to how work has been in other sections of the country.  The Northeast has been so, so slow.  I'm hoping it's for vacation time, but with this recession, who the heck knows.

Things have definitely picked up.  I am working four days this week, three days last week and four days the week before last and only one day was half day.

Ever since I posted this, Kelli, I've started booking.  Three all-dayers next week and one the following.  So here's to it really picking up, hopefully.  Thanks for responding.

Let's just hope it stays this way.  I have my fingers crossed.  I noticed agencies have started sending out job offers to the Cover Depo groups too again, so it must be picking up for everyone.

I am glad it is not only me experiencing this slow period in NY.  I have also heard they are going to be laying off reporters who work in the court system and replacing them with DR.  This is not a good sign.
