I am in need of some word help. I wrote "foe man so" and my audio and it is crystal clear that that is what is said, but I've never heard the phrase before.

One atty was objecting, and the other says, "Don't need to foe man so."

I am thinking possibly a Latin term? But I can't seem to find anything.... Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

maybe it's just "even so"

Bubbie Karen

Thanks for the suggestion, Karen, but the "foe" is very clear :)

"You don't need to form an answer" ? ? ?

Thanks for the suggestions. The atty he said it to kind of chuckled after he said it. I hope it's not some inside joke of theirs. I should have piped in, but didn't because I wrote it all out phonetically and didn't drop anything out. Oops.

After a little more research, I think he says, "Don't foment so."

" No need to foment, sir."????

Could it be something that starts with "faux"?

Definition of foment:   promote the growth or development of: to foment trouble; to foment discontent.

Sounds like it is "foment so."  Basically meaning, "You don't have to foment so much."

Ladies, the original question was posted almost two months ago. I'm pretty sure the transcript has long since been turned in by now! :-)

LOL.  Didn't even notice that.  Thought it went up today.  How funny.  Oh, well.  I just learned a new word myself.  It's all good.

Debi, you are so right. It's my fault. I am new at this and didn't notice the date it was posted.
