There's a CT period that includes a "lighting up" or irritation or aggravation of the bone.

What's a CT period?

Continuous trauma. Has to do with workers' comp

What is the case about? Cancer?

"Lighting up" is correct if they are talking about radiology. When contrast is used for certain things they are looking for in the X-rays, the contrast "lights up" when the X-ray is viewed. You mentioned a CT, so that sounds the appropriate context.
