I got sick of having to constantly look up the difference between "affect" and "effect," so I created this trick to help me easily decide which to use.

Substituting endgame for effect might not be a perfect fit, but I believe it should be close enough once every other alternative is ruled out. I hope you find it useful as well!

I just use this one:

Gotta love The Oatmeal! But this kind of device never worked for me because I could never remember which word was which part of speech.

I never worry about that, unless I'm taking a test! :)
