NCRA will not allow online voting on their dues increase

They saw this coming when we demanded voting rights for the entire membership regardless of being able to attend the meetings or not, and they set us up. It appears NCRA has ZERO respect for us or our money. If they wish to show respect to the membership, they will postpone voting on their planned dues increase until such time that all the membership can vote, whether it be online or in person.

They have not even considered a two-tier membership for those of us who wish to no longer be sent a paper Journal but are happy with online access for reading and/or printing. They will continue to lose members, which will require them to raise dues again to make up the difference. Poor management seems to be their focus.

Sorry for my rant. I was on another forum and saw all the excuses why they won't cut costs.

I had to give up NCRA a long time ago because it's just too costly for the benefits I receive, or lack thereof. I'm glad they legislate for us and provide us with valuable information. But other than that, I can't justify the high rates. And the thought of an increase? I shudder. When is enough enough in this day and age?
