I used my iPhone the other day as a hotspot for realtime. I was routing to 2 iPads and sending audio and text files to my scopist via dropbox. It worked like a charm. Stenograph does NOT recommend doing this but if you are in a pinch it is an option. I have an iPhone 5. I was able to make calls, get emails and text while doing all of this. I also loaded dropbox on my phone so I can look at exhibits if need be while at a job if I want to edit during a lunch break.
I finally loaded the MileIQ app on my phone. It seems really simple. You just swipe to the left if the trip is personal If it is business, you swipe to the right. You can go to the web site to see what your mileage is. This is what holds me up on my taxes every year, figuring up my taxes.
What is your favorite PDF app for your iPhone?
But, Deborah, I'm thinking if we use an app on the iPhone, we don't have to add. I'm LAZY!!!!! :-)
LOL, Janiece, I keep track of my mileage with a small spiral notebook and a pen I keep in my car. End of the year I add it up. Done.
I'm having a custom iPhone cover made that has my company logo. I can't wait to get it. :-)
What app do you use for keeping track of your mileage. I have an iPhone 5
Do you update the software on your iPhone? I just went from 4. something to 7 something. What an ordeal to update. I finally have it working, I think.
I was thinking of trying to find some double-sided tape or the stuff used for scrapbooks. I will check out DepoBook -- thanks!
I was wondering about the review padding. I downloaded the free version of the Jot Pro just to see what I think of it, will probably go with the ScannerPro if it's worth the extra few bucks.
As an added thought, I usually go by you get what you pay for as to the difference in price. I would suggest to read some of the reviews, keeping in mind that sometimes the develpers pad their "good" reviews on purpose
